I love weekends in Brisbane. With plans, without plans, I don't mind.

They always seem so full of promise... I live quite close to the City, and my usual method of weekend transport is via CityCat, which is just delightful. Riding the CityCat always makes the journey as special as the destination. 

  
  

I've got a few plans, nothing uber-exciting, but probably catching up with a dear girlfriend this eve in Bulimba, and then a bit of a Brisbane explore tomorrow. I just love the feeling of freedom on weekends. No real places to be at any particular time, no chores (well, I have them, I just don't do them...), no reason to be anything but happy.

I saw this super sweet image on fffound and the colours made me think of weekend possibilities, so completely open and magical.
