What IF?
What IF?
That's a really good question. What if a young woman, with a passion for writing about the social, environmental and humanitarian challenges of the world, actually stood up and did it? What if she created, from scratch, a magazine dedicated to quality journalism in all its forms, with a profound sense of honesty and responsibility?
Well, over the next few months, you have the opportunity to watch and assist, as this young woman does exactly that.
Meet Jane Lee. She's started a blog, fittingly called The IF Project.
In 100 days I will launch a new magazine to shed light on the SOCIAL, ENVIRONMENTAL and HUMANITARIAN challenges of the world. This blog documents my journey till the first issue goes live.

I love that Jane has been inspired by some of the most passionate people that have inspired me too. She also, like me, finds superb motivation to change the planet from some of the speakers in the TED Talks program. (Is there a better way to use the interweb than spending an hour or so cruising the TED Talks? If so, show me now!)
There is certainly a gap in the market for an educated and educating magazine, driven by someone who cares enough to make it work, instead of a token publication by a publishing giant who wants to corner all the eco-trends to grow their luxury brands. (Yes Conde Nast, I mean you!)
I don't know if I can do anything to help Jane, but I'll sure give it a try, and I'd love it if you, my sweet readers, could too.
In the beginning, it's all about spreading the word and getting the right people involved, and you can assist.
Tweet about The IF Project and tell your friends.
Good luck Jane, and if there is anything I can do to assist The IF Project, holler, even if it's just sending some cakes your way to sustain you through your ardous task!

Thank you so much for blogging about IF Katy! It's not always easy to stay motivated when you're on your own - and this really made my day!
