Early morning sunshine
Sunshine on my shoulders, makes me happy, like I should be... (Insert headbanging Spiderbait awesomeness here - if that song doesn't cheer you up on a Monday morning, nothing will!)
I have plans this evening in delightful Bulimba, so drove out there early this morning to leave my car there and catch the CityCat in to work, which is truly the BEST way to get to work - ever.
Thanks to some super-secret-squirrel police drama, exclusion zone and closed CityCat terminal at Eagle Street Pier, I couldn't get off the CityCat at the regular CBD stop and was still very early for work, so I decided to hop off at Southbank and stroll through the sunshine and flowers to work. WOW! I should do that every day. The 'spine' of Southbank, the bouganvillea-covered walkway threading all through the Parklands, was gorgeous with the early sunshine filtering through the leaves. I can't believe how little it takes to brighten my day - a little public transport drama and my Monday is made!
