A divine weekend...

You know what? I am so content right now. I have an iced mocha on my desk, my work email in-box is reasonably empty (nothing truly pressing, anyway), I had a great sleep and woke refreshed, and most importantly, I had a fantastic weekend.

In no particular order, I enjoyed the following things:

*pirate dress-ups - Argh!
*watching Harry Potter movies in bed
*making up new flourless chocolate cake recipes
*sitting on a picnic blanket watching Halloween movies in the park with a friend's gorgeous nieces, eating Pop Rocks candy until our eardrums hurt
*winning a super-cute large plush monkey at the 'Midway' at the Manly Halloween Festival - his name is Chowder the Monkey
*buying Halloween candy
*sleeping on freshly-washed bed sheets
*frisbee, gridiron and a bbq at New Farm Park for a very dear friend's birthday
*delicious cheap Japanese food
