Feeling Thankful Friday : thank YOU

Today is a bit of a big day for me, and I wouldn't be here, doing the amazing things that I'm doing, without some great people in my life. So, I shall use today's Feeling Thankful Friday, to express some specific thankfulness!

I have resigned from my job and am finishing up today, and have taken an entirely new career direction. Whilst in my current employment, I have had both personal and professional issues to overcome and the support of key people in my life has made these so much easier to deal with.

Rosie - you're the best, truly. Don't ever forget how much you are worth, as both a friend and an employee. You know exactly how much you have saved my butt over the last ten months, and I appreciate having worked with you so much. (Sob sob.)

Josie & Nikki - such sweeties. Thanks for letting me vent, you are the best listeners ever. I have a question for you though... why are the marketing staff always the best-dressed? It's just not fair!

JP & Scotty - Working for you both was such a pleasure, and you've both allowed me to get the job done in my own quirky, odd way.

Adriana - oh lord. Lord have mercy. You are my rock. And I'm so glad that you will still be my rock when my name has long been forgotten here. I'm really looking forward to hooking you up... haha!

Away from work, on a personal note, the following fine folk have been there for me, rain, hail or shine.

My darling Shannon and my sweet Snaili, what would I do without your love and support and emails and FB stalking ten times a day? I would DIE!

Snickerdoodle - You've been there for me and seen positives in my life when not even I knew that there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you.

DD - I see so much strength in you, which only inspires and motivates me. You've been a knight in shining armour (well, dirty armour) for me, and I can't express just how much I appreciate you. You've also given me the best holiday ever, and I'm looking forward to even more awesome holiday times together.

I'm heading to Darwin this evening for a delightful little mini-break to see DD, and lemme tell you, I'm counting the minutes! He's super-fun to go on holidays with, and is brilliant at getting me to try new things.

These flowers are for all of you lovely ladies and gents. Every single one of you who has told me to keep going, or to move on, or to sing, laugh and dance.

I love you.
