I've had a coral crush for years now. Coral lips and nails are my go-to look for pretty much any event. I wish I could go this orangey-extreme, but clearly I'm MUCH too much of a wallflower to stand out like that. Bah hah hah. 

   

I received an amazing selection of cosmetics yesterday at the brilliant Bloggers Collective event that Sarah and Annica organised (more on that soon - including pics!), and one of the seven lipsticks (yes, SEVEN) that I was gifted is the coral lipstick I've been looking for all my life!

Ciccone Cosmetics are an Australian made company, who have created the perfect light coral lipstick in their gorgeous shade, Oceanus.

    

So what is about the lipstick? Firstly, I totally love the colour - it's truly a blonde & tanned girl's best friend. It's also incredibly long-lasting, it stays on my lips for a really long time, even after eating and drinking.

But there is one downside to the fabulosity.  If you have dry lips (as I do from spending time in my car and the air conditioned airport) then this lipstick will show up every little flaky dry spot. I'm going to create a lip scrub (I've been told olive oil and sugar together work a treat), and hopefully my lips will be in tip-top condition. The lipstick is quite moisturising though, so it's not working against my already dry lips, thank goodness.

I'm definitely not a beauty blogger (I think I faked it pretty well yesterday), so this review is lacking in all sorts of beautified technical ingredienty stuff, but I have come to the conclusion that Ciccone Oceanus is just incredible!
