This trusty boater hat goes with everything, all I have to do is attach a matching ribbon. I got it from a style-savvy friend who's room is 99.9% vintage. I love it when she cleans her room out, always an opportunity for me to snag a cute one-off vintage treasure!
I've been completely engrossed in books lately -- mainly by L.M Montgomery. Anne of Green Gables and The Story Girl. I've officially come to the conclusion that Anne of Green Gables is my favourite book in the entire world. If you don't want to read the books (they are really long) I recommend the TV series. Honestly, it's the best romance in the world. I am currently enjoying my Spring holidays at the moment. Being able to op-shop to my hearts content and having no assignments due in a short space of time is rather surreal! Lately the local charity stores have been bursting with vintage pieces. In the Salvation Army there is a Glomesh bag that I've had my eye on for a while now; if I don't buy it soon, I know I'll crack! I had also gotten lucky with a denim dress for $3.50, it looks totally adorable and has barely been worn!
Well, I best be off, my raspberry and white chocolate swirl muffins are in the oven and a heavenly scent is drifting through the house; they must be cooked!
